Our practice over the past six years has been built by reputation alone, based solely on the quality of our small, but close knit team.

Our goal, our vision, is to employ people who share our desire and ambition and have the necessary skills and potential to enhance the team, thus giving our clients an unrivalled service.

Knowledge is vital but knowledge alone is not the key. We consider our strengths to be in the communication of our expertise to our clients, ensuring that we build close, professional and valued relationships whilst maintaining an effective and efficient service. The end result, a close knit team whose professional integrity, expertise and support you can rely upon.

Shaun Miles (FCCA MAAT)

Shaun is a qualified chartered certified accountant with over 18 years practice experience. He has worked for top name firms in the Bath area and decided from his varied experience that there was a niche in the market for an accountant who speaks “plain English” and relates to clients on their level.

By taking time to fully understand the intricacies of the clients business, Shaun believes his firm are then best placed to assist and support ensuring that no matter what size the business, financial success is achieved.

Away from the office Shaun enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters and following his passion of racing Motocross.

Jess Mathias (MAAT)

Having joined the practice in October 2012, Jess is now an established member of the team.

She is AAT qualified and is currently working towards her Chartered status with ACCA, which is likely to be achieved by the close of the year.

Jess is proficient with various accounting software packages used within the office, as well as outside of the office when visiting client premises.

Within the office she assists the preparation of accounts, VAT returns and tax returns as well as bookkeeping and general administration duties.

After a hard day at the office Jess prefers nothing more than relaxing at home with her two Springer Spaniels.

Becky Carver (MAAT)

Becky has worked for Accounting Solutions since 2011 and is a qualified member of the team having completed her AAT qualification in February 2014.

Becky has a varied role within the firm which includes Book keeping, Payroll, Accounts preparation and general administration duties.

Outside of work Becky can be found enjoying time with her husband and two children.

Lindsey Hancock (Administration Assistant)

Lindsey joined the practice in August 2011 and works on a part-time basis, taking care of the book keeping and office administration duties.

Kitty Parfitt (MAAT)

Kitty joined Accounting Solutions in November 2016 and is the newest member of the team. She completed AAT in August 2015.

Her role at Accounting Solutions involves book keeping, preparation of Accounts, VAT returns and general administration duties.

When away from the office, Kitty enjoys shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
